Has Your Environmental Risk REALLY Left the Building?

Is recycling industrial waste hazardous to the health of your business? Why should you be concerned about new environmental regulations?

Recycling should be a "win-win" for the environment and your business. Unfortunately, existing EPA regulations impose liability on your business at every location your waste travels to (or through) in the process of being recycled. EPA's proposed new definition of "legitimate" recycling makes matters even worse. We will discuss other environmental regulations (particularly during the Q&A session). For example, the proposed "legitimate" recycling rule is the first time EPA has considered environmental justice (EJ) when enacting a new rule. The EJ policy requires EPA to take race, income and other socio-economic variables into account in its decision-making process.

During this interactive workshop, we will discuss the practical implications of the EJ policy on your business. We will also discuss how to avoid and minimize your environmental risk, particularly through Pollution Liability Insurance.
